Aggregation or how to subscribe to a newsfeed

If you wish to be informed of updates to a site, you can subscribe to the site if it is syndicated (RSS, ATOM or XML).

Several browsers manage the syndication of sites. Among them are Explorer 7 and Firefox for Windows, Firefox under Linux, and Safari and Firefox on the Macintosh. Some will prefer to use a program or Web application to create newsfeeds.

We suggest various procedures (in French) to install the type of aggregator that best suits you.

Wikis

A wiki is a collaborative tool that makes it possible to write texts (and illustrate them) as a group. In our opinion, not all wikis are created equal. At Domaine des langues, we encourage user-friendly environments that require no programming knowledge. Unfortunately, many wikis require the use of codes and tags to edit a page.

So far, we have found one wiki that sets itself apart from others by its great simplicity of use. It is part of an office tools suite developed by Zoho.

You will find a video clip that explains, with a certain humour, the advantages of using a wiki.
